A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

[Latest version: 2021.R1]

ROCKETS FUCKING EVERYWHERE is a top-down bullet-hellish dodge-em-up with vicious...erm...viciousness. Travel and explode entertainingly in over five stages while listening to the awesome chiprock tracks by Graham 'Pitfall' Baker.

Professionals recommend that you do not take the content inside this game seriously, and that if at any time you feel offended, just know it isn't personal.

Install instructions

Windows:

1) Place .ZIP anywhere you prefer

2) Extract the folder inside the .ZIP

3) Run 'rocketsfuckingeverywhere.exe'

4) Play the game! ;)

Linux:

No more libudev.so.0 nonsense! Just run the game in the terminal with "./ROCKETS FUCKING EVERYWHERE" or use the run.sh that does that exact thing.

Due to some issues in the latest build, I have had to rollback the game to R4 until I can fix everything. It is not recommended to link a newer version of libudev as an older version, but that is what I did before and it worked. I would rather you try to run the game under WINE first before risking breaking your system.

Hey, great to see this game getting updated all these years later! It seems to run smoother now. Though it seems to have added bugs into the game as well:

1) The end boss level starts at 20% instead of 100%. Plus, when it's defeated, the game doesn't show the credits. The boss continuously explodes and the screen remains white.

2) Pressing the Esc key when exiting a level, also brings the game back to windowed mode.

3) The exit game option doesn't close the game.

Thank you for the heads up! I’ll try to fix these right away. :)

I’m sorry this is taking so long. The situation has become a bit more complicated. I just now got some time to fix the issues, and some of them are more involved than I thought. For some reason it is not saving any of the settings (hence restarting to the windowed mode. Settings are also reloaded when the menu is loaded, which is why that happens) and I cant figure out why.

I also cannot get this damn thing to run on Linux again after exporting. It keeps complaining about some libraries - that came packaged with the NWjs exec - being missing. I even put the libraries RIGHT NEXT TO THE PROGRAM and it still cant find it! I might roll the game back to its previous version until I look into this some more.

Hello again! I’ve had to pause updating this for a while but I’ve decided to port the game to Godot. This will make it easier to maintain in the future and I won’t have to pay a monthly license fee either. I’ll also be able to open source the game immediately on publishing the port. Sorry for the long delay, but this will be worth it!

Sounds good, take your time as needed. :)
